AAJA Portland is excited to partner with APANO for a roundtable with Oregon’s five AAPI state representatives.
When: 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21
Where: APANO Communities United Fund, 8188 S.E. Division St., Portland
Cost: Admission is free. Beverages and light refreshments will be provided.

You’ll have a chance to meet:

Daniel Nguyen, a Democrat who represents Oregon House District 38: South Waterfront, Lake Oswego and parts of Southwest Portland.

Hoa Nguyen, a Democrat who represents Oregon House District 48: Damascus and East Portland.

Hai Pham, a Democrat who represents Oregon House District 36: South Hillsboro, West Beaverton, and unincorporated Washington County.

Khanh Pham, a Democrat who represents Oregon House District 46: Southeast Portland, including the Jade District, Montavilla, Lents, Tabor, Errol Heights, Foster-Powell and Brentwood-Darlington neighborhoods.

Thuy Tran, a Democrat who represents Oregon House District 45: Northeast and Southeast Portland, including the Maywood Park, Parkrose, Argay Terrace, Montavilla and Cully neighborhoods.
Also participating will be Duncan Hwang, a member of the Metro Council, which runs the Metro regional government. Hwang represents Metro District 6, which includes Southeast Portland and portions of Northeast and Southwest Portland.
Peter Wong, AAJA Portland’s national board representative and a former AAJA Portland president, will moderate the event.
Khanh Pham is running in the November 2024 election for an Oregon State Senate seat. Daniel Nguyen, Hoa Nguyen, Hai Pham and Thuy Tran are running for second terms in the November 2024 election.
