Saturday Social Hour and weekend of support for AAJA PDX

Two AAPI-owned businesses in Portland are offering an incentive and a discount to support AAJA Portland during the weekend of July 20-21.

All Burn Wax: At Diana Aalberg’s cute brick-and-mortar shop, you’ll find her hand-poured candles and sprays, plus plants and products from artists and other makers. She is giving 20% of her weekend in-store sales to AAJA PDX. Visit anytime between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday.

Wailua Shave Ice: You’ll find flavors such as Triple Coconut, Da Mango One, Strawberry Matcha and Pina Colada, as well as other treats and products. Wailua Shave Ice is offering a 10% discount all weekend when you show proof you shopped at All Burn Wax. Visit anytime between noon and 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Both businesses are in Union Way Alley, 1022 W. Burnside St., across the street from Powell’s City of Books.

AAJA Portland members will meet up from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at All Burn Wax. All are welcome to join us.
