Join us for coffee, conversation and a chance to chat with Alexander Banks, our 2024 AAJA-SPJ Emerging Northwest Journalists intern. Banks is a senior at Oregon State University who will be interning at the Statesman Journal in Salem.

When: 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, June 15, 2024

Where: 40 LBS. Coffee Bar, 101 S.W. Main St., Portland (ground floor of the One Main Place building)

Cost: Admission is free. Coffee beverages and food will be available for purchase.

The AAJA-SPJ Emerging Northwest Journalists Internship, established in 2019, provides paid newsroom experience for members of racial and ethnic minority groups that are underrepresented in Pacific Northwest newsrooms.
