You’re invited to join AAJA Portland at Xin Ding Dumpling House and Meet Fresh Portland on Saturday, April 20, for our first AAJA To Go event of the year.

You’ll enjoy dumplings and then dessert, which will include demonstrations on how to make shaved ice and boba drinks.

You will get to support two local, neighboring Asian-owned businesses. You’ll also meet members of AAJA Portland, the only official organization for journalists of color in Oregon, and learn about our work.

At Xin Ding, you’ll be able to watch dumpling making through a window. Owner Leon Liu is graciously offering to cover a large portion of our lunch.

At Meet Fresh, James and Tiffany are graciously offering a special for our event: Buy a drink and get a free dessert of your choice.

This is a free event. You can donate at the door to support Xin Ding and Meet Fresh employees and AAJA Portland’s internship and awards fund.
